We are seeking a legally qualified and licensed professional to support our corporate services operations. This role is pivotal in liaising with international clients, external law firms, regulators, and banking institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Legal & Corporate Governance
*Oversee corporate legal matters: incorporation, restructuring, and dissolution.
*Manage corporate governance and ensure strict statutory compliance.
*Prepare and review essential corporate doents, including resolutions, agreements, and NDAs.
*Coordinate license applications for specialized sectors (e.g., Gaming, Fintech, and Financial Services).
*Review legal advice from external counsel to ensure it aligns with business objectives.
*Maintain accurate corporate records, compliance calendars, and statutory filings.
Client & Third-Party Liaison
*Serve as the primary legal point of contact for clients, regulators, and banks.
Facilitate KYC, AML, and due diligence processes for financial institutions and payment providers.
*Manage legal deliverables, timelines, and fee structures with external partners.
Bilingual Doentation
*Draft, review, and translate complex legal doents between English and Chinese.
*Facilitate bilingual communication to ensure clarity and consistency in legal terminology across all jurisdictions.
Requirements Qualifications
Legal Qualification: Must be licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (e.g., Admitted Lawyer, Solicitor, Attorney-at-Law, PRC Legal Professional Qualification, or equivalent).
Education: A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent degree is mandatory.
Professional Experience
2–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) within a law firm (Corpora an in-house corporate servic role.
Proven track record in corporate regulatory or licensing matters.
Language Skills
English: Full professional proficiency (written and spoken).
Chinese (Mandarin): Full professional proficiency (written and spoken).
Technical Skills
Exceptional legal drafting and review capabilities.
Strong commercial aen and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters across different jurisdictions.
Preferred Attributes (Nice to Have)
Experience in highly regulated industries such as Gaming, Betting, Fintech, or Payments.
Exposure to multi-jurisdictional corporate structures.
Experience working directly with international stakeholders.
