Wood is recruiting a Liquid Hydrogen Expert for a long-term assignment in Muscat to lead hydrogen infrastructure development from initiation through FEED and detailed design. You will frame liquid hydrogen business opportunities, developing project portfolios and conceptual designs for production, storage, and dispensing systems. Key responsibilities include conducting techno-commercial assessments of cryogenic technologies, designing liquefaction systems, and collaborating with suppliers for cost-effective components. You will also manage stakeholder engagements, secure green hydrogen supplies, and work with financial advisors to develop bankable commercial structures. This role is pivotal in transforming energy markets by integrating advanced cryogenic processes into sustainable infrastructure projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Significant experience in the liquefaction and storage of cryogenic gases (L track record in executing conceptual studies, optimization, and FEED stages. Strong background in onshore Oil & Gas projects (brownfield and greenfield). Experience working with technology licensors and managing ITT processes. Ability to develop bankable commercial structures and engage with financi advisors. Systematic problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex project portfolios.
