Basic Function
Support all activities under domestic procuring and assist the supervisor in his undertakings, and do a continual search for new local or domestic suppliers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate to domestic procurement supervisor for large quantity orders and to assist managing all required domestic or local buyer works.
Searching for original suppliers for the consumable material.
Be aware of the procurement quarter plan.
To coordinate activities of personnel engaged in contract negotiation, buying, and selling of equipment materials and services.
Monitor excess and obsolete costs.
To coordinate with other logistical functions such as receiving, storage, and issue and inventory to determine the status of products in relation to cost.
Ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials is procured and ready for manufacturing operation.
To stay abreast of any changes related to imports and shipping regulations info.
Search for and locate a better product in order to maintain a competitive, innovative edge.
Do the research and make recommendations to superior in the event of a price hike.
Follow safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manual, including participation in any emergency situation.
Do other tasks as assigned.
