Job Summary:
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for managing the labeling and shelving of incoming deliveries, handling outgoing items, maintaining accurate records, and performing basic doentation tasks. The role requires good organizational skills, proficiency in MS Outlook, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Labeling and Shelving:
Label all incoming deliveries accurately.
Place items on the correct shelves according to the labels.
2) Managing Outgoing Items:
Ensure all outgoing items are correctly doented and managed.
Prepare and maintain lists of outgoing items.
3) Doentation:
Perform basic doentation tasks.
Use MS Outlook for communication and doentation purposes.
4) General Support:
Assist the warehouse manager with daily operations.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of MS Outlook and doentation skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Skills:
Labeling and Shelving: Ability to label and shelve items accurately.
