Job Description

• Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s marketing and brand strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.
• Incumbent will work closely with Head of Businesses and BU-Marketing teams to identify, drive and maximize marketing opportunities to increase sales, gross margins profitability and customer satisfaction, including all activities around development and implementation of initiatives, measurement, customer data, driving traffic and conversion, in-store merchandising and presentation, training, and maximization of return on advertising and promotional efforts.
• Provide leadership to marketing and communications team across business units, ensuring individual competency and capability requirements are clearly defined, set into KPIs and objectives, and appropriate support is in place for high performance.
• Works collaboratively with Business Unit Heads to set annual marketing budgets, goals, objectives and targets, and executing actionable initiatives to achieve them.
• Design, develop and lead execution of marketing and communications, and brand strategy for the organization and for new and existing products or services.
• Transform policies, strategies and objectives into long, medium and short-term Marketing plans that support current KPI’s, (Improving CSI levels, meeting budgeted store traffic numbers, improving the brand image and enhancing the customer experience).
• Maintains and utilizes sales and market information to develop marketing strategy including; price positioning of each product, pricing and discount strategy, review of the product portfolio within each product group, brand and segment to optimize margins and stock levels. Recommends effective strategies to promote products and services.
• Develop and implement systems and methodology for collection and analysis of market trends and relevant information regarding competitors' activities and share, pricing and discount programs, specifications and features of competitive products, customer preferences, market spend, etc.
• Develop and implement effective marketing programs including advertising and promotion programs with all - product groups and major supplier support and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness. Utilize databases to measure the effectiveness of those programs.
• Establish and maintain proactive relationships with industry influencers, key community strategic partners, and product suppliers in order to utilize these relationships in achieving market and marketing objectives; also manage negotiation with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials.
• Plans and measures strategies to improve return on ad and promotional spending and efficiency of marketing programs.
• Partners with product management & suppliers on new product launches and transition strategies to effectively maximize sales and minimize margin degradation.
• Create and produce valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications.


Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 to 4yrs of experience in Marketing Agency.
