Gulf Technical Services (GTS) is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a 3-year (extendable) Oil & Gas project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintenance and turnarou activities, static and rotating equipment maintenance, welding and inspection coordination, maintenance planning, project management, technical reporting, and ensuring compliance with HSE and Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.

a. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
b. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
c. 2–3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
d. Proven experience managing turnaroun involving at least 250,000 man-hours.
e. Extensive maintenance experience with reactors, reformers, heat exchangers, columns, and piping components.
f. Knowledge of welding and inspection techniques.
g. Experience with rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, and fin fans.
h. Experience with CMMS, preferably SAP.
i. Strong knowledge of HSE and Process Safety Management (PSM).
j. Understanding of static equipment maintenance, flange box-up procedures, equipment criticality ranking, maintenance strategy development, technical report writing, and project management
