• Audit record to ensure proper submission of services prior to billing. Resolve or clarify codes or diagnosis with conflicting, missing or unclear information by consulting with doctors or others.
• Maintain custom confidentiality.
• Contact provider to train and update them with correct coding issues.
• Accurately follows coding guidelines and legal requirements to ensure compliance with federal and state government regulatory bodies.
• Assigned additional diagnosis codes based on specific clinical findings (laboratory, radiology and pathology reports as wel as clinical studies) ni support of existing diagnosis.
• Carefully coded diseases and injury diagnosis, acuity of care, and procedures ni an inpatient and outpatient setting
