Twinkle Star Nursery is a reputable and established nursery dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 6 months to 4 years. We are committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team.
About the role:
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Nursery, ensuring the well-being and development of children in our care, and managing a team of passionate educators. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment that supports children’s growth and learning.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
-Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators and support staff.
-Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
-Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development activities.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
Curriculum and Program Development:
-Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children’s learning and development.
-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, adjusting as needed.
-Foster creativity and innovation in teaching practices.
Child Welfare and Development:
-Prioritize the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of each child.
-Maintain open and effective communication with paren, addressing their concerns and needs.
-Create and maintain child portfolios to track developmental progress.
Administrative Duties:
-Oversee daily administrative tasks, including enrollment, attendance, and record-keeping.
-Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently.
-Collaborate with the management team on strategic planning and goals.
Health and Safety Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for children and staff.
-Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership role with an early childhood education setting.
-Strong leadership and management skills, including team building and conflict resolution.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with relevant local and national regulations.
-Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children.
-Fluent in English.
