Job Title: Nursery Manager(Female)

Scope of the Job:
As the Nursery Manager at Wizkidz Nursery, you are the key person in charge, responsible for overseeing all operational, educational, and regulatory aspects of the nursery.
You will lead the nursery team in delivering a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 6 months to 5 years, in line with the EYFS curriculum and KHDA guidelines.
Your role will involve building a positive, inclusive environment, ensuring compliance with all local regulatory standards, and driving the success of this new centre through excellent leadership and operational management.

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
1)Team Leadership and Staff Development: Support the nursery's mission, vision, and values to inspire confidence in parents and families.
2) Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, aims and activities.
Contribute to formulation of policy and strategy
Recruit, induct, support, and train staff to ensure a high standard of care and education.
Conduct yearly appraisals, regular supervisions, and maintain a focus on staff retention and professional development.
3)Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and compliant environment for children and staff.
4)Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all practices are in line with EYFS, KHDA regulations, and other relevant frameworks. Act as the designated safeguarding lead, promoting child safety and protection.
5)Curriculum Planning: Collaborate with educators to implement the EYFS curriculum, supporting children’s intellectual, emotional, and social development.
6)Parent Engagement: Foster strong relationships with parents, maintain open communication, and respond to feedback to ensure a positive experience for children and families.
7)Financial and Administrative Management: Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to maintain the financial health of the nursery.
8)Community Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Wizkidz Nursery, engaging with the local community to build the nursery’s reputation and drive enrolments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
CACHE Level 5 certification or equivalent.
Pediatric first aid certification (minimum 12 hours) and relevant safeguardi protection training.
KHDA-approved qualifications, with all certifications attested for recognition.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of management experience in an early years setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team of educators.
Knowledge of EYFS framework, KHDA guidelines, and relevant safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, parents, and the wider community.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities, with experience in managing budgets and resources.
