We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Office Cleaner to ensure our office premises are maintained in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be capable of completing tasks efficiently. This position entails keeping our office area tidy, sanitized, and presentable for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the office including floors, desks, windows, washrooms, and kitchen
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors regularly
- Empty trash bins and replace garbage bags as needed
- Clean and restock restroom facilities regularly throughout the day
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure their cleanliness and shine
- Remove smudges, fingerprints, and stains from office furniture and fixtures
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and available for use
- Follow proper waste management procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Cooperate with office staff to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office cleaner or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Time-management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills to interact with employees and supervisors effectively
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stoop as necessary
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow cleaning schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Working conditions:
