We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our heavy-duty transportation and logistics operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large fleets and ensuring efficient, safe, and timely deliveries.
- Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the transportation and logistics department.
* Oversee a fleet of over 120 pieces of equipment and a team of more than 70 operators.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.
* Coordinate with clients to meet their transportation needs and resolve any issues.
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management within the heavy-duty transportation industry.
* Strong understanding of logistics, fleet management, and safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
