Job Title: Photocopier Technician

Job Summary:
The Photocopier Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of photocopiers and other related office equipment. The role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide high-quality customer service.Should be able to service minimum any one of the following brands-Konica Minolta, HP, Canon, Ricoh
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation and Setup:
• Install and configure photocopiers and related office equipment at client locations.
• Ensure proper setup, including network configurations and user access.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance on photocopiers to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic issues with photocopiers and other office equipment.
• Replace parts and components as necessary to restore functionality.
• Customer Support:
• Provide on-site and remote support to clients for photocopier issues.
• Educate clients on proper usage and maintenance of their photocopiers.
• Address and resolve customer concerns and service requests in a timely manner.
• Technical Doentation:
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
• Prepare service reports and doent any recurring issues or potential improvements.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Order and restock parts and supplies as needed to ensure availability for repairs.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to company policies and industry regulations regarding safety and environmental practices.
• Follow standard operating procedures and ensure equipment is handled and disposed of safely.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in photocopier technology and repair techniques.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Experience: Proven experience as a photocopier technician or in a similar technical role.
• Skills:
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic understanding of networking and connectivity issues related to office equipment.
