Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CodeIgniter to join our team. As a CodeIgniter Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications. This role requires an in-depth understanding of PHP and CodeIgniter, along with a passion for delivering high-quality code that drives great user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the CodeIgniter framework.
Write clean, well-doented, and reusable PHP code in line with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Integrate third-party services and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality across systems.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing CodeIgniter-based applications.
Work with database systems (MySQL) to design efficient database architectures and optimize queries.
Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain code quality and performance.
Stay updated on the latest CodeIgniter and PHP trends, best practices, and security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in PHP development, specifically with the CodeIgniter framework.
Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and relational database design.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX).
Proficiency in integrating APIs and working with RESTful services.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
