Job Description:
•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in the building-related construction and consultancy industry.
•Proven expertise in quantity surveying and bid development processes.
•Strong proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement practices.
•Experience in planning, scheduling, and project management, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
•Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software.
•Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project milestones are met within specified timeframes.
•Prepare and submit Extension of Time (EOT) claims as needed, doenting and justifying schedule impacts.
•Estimate project durations accurately, considering all relevant factors.
•Conduct critical path analysis to identify key project activities and optimize scheduling.
•Establish baseline schedules to measure project progress against.
•Track project progress regularly and report deviations from the baseline schedule.
•Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
•Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and objectives.
•Integrate cost considerations into project planning and execution processes.
•Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
•Doent project schedules, progress reports, and other relevant information for future reference and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
•Proven experience in schedule development, resource allocation, time estimation, and critical path analysis.
•Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Creative ability in developing Excel dashboards and reports to visualize project data effectively.
•Familiarity with Power BI is considered a valuable addition.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among project teams.
•Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.
•Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
