Plumbing Engineer
Plumbing engineers design and draft plumbing systems for different buildings and facilities. It involves managing project budgets, designing and implementing plumbing systems, and managing teams. They may need to visit construction or building projects, so travel to and from sites is to be expected.
Responsibilities
Plumbing engineers work closely with clients to develop designs, performing design calculations and choosing the appropriate equipment and systems for installation.
Plumbing engineers prepare the schematics and materials required to present their proposal to their clients.
From drawing projects to amending designs, plumbing engineers draft the technical documentation associated with each project.
Plumbing engineers oversee junior engineering staff and provide training for them when required to ensure that each project is completed to the appropriate standard.
Qualification
Must have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Must have at least a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role for the construction industry.
Must have knowledge and experience in AUTO CAD.
Contract length: 36 months
