Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Pool Technician to join our team. The Pool Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of swimming pools and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pool systems and equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Servicing:
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming pools.
Test pool water for proper chemical levels and add necessary chemicals to maintain balance.
Inspect and service pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
Repairs and Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair pool equipment issues, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing.
Address leaks, cracks, and other structural problems in pools.
Replace worn or damaged parts and equipment.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for pool maintenance and repair.
Educate clients on proper pool care and maintenance practices.
Respond promptly to service calls and ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety regulations and standards.
Handle and store pool chemicals safely and according to guidelines.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Doentation:
Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemicals used, and equipment repaired or replaced.
Prepare service reports and doentation as required.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of chemicals and equipment.
Order supplies and parts as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
