Procurement & Sourcing
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, finishes, furniture (FF&E), fixtures, joinery works, and MEP items related to interior fit-out projects.
Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotation), gather bids, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
Negotiate prices, terms, payment schedules, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and BOQ requirements.
2. Material Management
Coordinate with the design and project teams to understand material requirements, specifications, and lead times.
Verify material submittals and ensure compliance with project quality standards.
Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to the site or warehouses.
Maintain a tracker for material status, approvals, deliveries, and pending items.
3. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
Maintain a strong database of approved suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers for interior works.
Build long-term supplier relationships and continuously assess vendor performance.
Resolve issues related to delivery delays, material shortages, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies.
4. Doentation & Compliance
Prepare purchase orders, LPOs, comparison sheets, and cost analysis reports.
Ensure all doentation complies with company procedures and ISO standards (if applicable).
Coordinate with finance for supplier payments and address billing or invoice issues.
Maintain accurate procurement records for audits and project closing.
5. Project Support
Support project managers in planning material requirements based on project schedules.
Assist in value engineering to reduce project costs without compromising quality.
Attend site meetings when required to review procurement needs and material issues.
Provide weekly procurement status reports to management.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within interior design, fit-out, or construction industry in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of interior materials: gypsum, flooring, ceilings, joinery, paint, decorative finishes, FF&E, lighting, hardware, etc.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement software.
Ability to read drawings, specifications, and technical doents.
Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
