Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Merchandising:
•Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to analyze market trends and customer demands.
•Coordinate with the design and product development teams to ensure timely prototyping and sampling of new uniform designs.
•Review and finalize garment specifications, pricing, and production timelines based on customer requirements.
•Ensure effective communication with customers to address inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to merchandising.

Purchasing Trims and Raw Materials:
•Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers for trims, fabrics, and other raw materials used in uniform production.
•Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of trims and materials to meet production schedules.
•Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining the high quality standards of Uniformsly products.

Production and Factory Management:
•Oversee the entire production process to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
•Collaborate with the production planning team to allocate resources effectively and maximize production capacity.
•Monitor and manage the factory's daily operations to ensure productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
•Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency and minimize waste.

Packaging and Quality Assurance:
•Establish and maintain packaging standards to ensure products are securely packaged for delivery.
•Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
•Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with Uniformsly's high-quality standards.

Delivery and Supply Chain Management:
•Manage the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished uniforms to customers.
•Optimize transportation and distribution strategies to minimize delivery lead times and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and shipping companies to streamline delivery processes.

Extended Customer Support:
•Lead the customer support team to address post-sales inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
•Ensure effective communication with customers regarding order status, delivery updates, and any special requirements.
•Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, making Uniformsly the preferred choice for uniforms.


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
•Proven experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a managerial role.
•Strong knowledge of the garment production process, from design to delivery.
•Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide factory staff effectively.
•Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various aspects of factory operations.
•Analytical mindset to identify and resolve operational challenges proactively.
•Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and customers professionally.
•Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
