Role Objective:
To manage the site execution of the project within the time, cost, productivity and quality requirements of the contract while adhering to the company’s quality and safety practices. To assign and distribute efficiently the available resources, materials, subcontractors and equipment on the project.
STRATEGIC
Assists in the introducti of new methods of construction and machinery used to improve the construction process.
Promotes a culture of logistic planning and productivity measurement.
Promotes a culture of minimizing material wastage and enhance lab usage.
OPERATIONAL
Ensures construction work of assigned project is executed within target time frames, execution plans and budgeted cost.
Optimizes manpower productivity, equipment, and materials allocation,and ensures no materials are wasted on assigned part of site.
Assigns responsibilities to on-site staff.
Implements the safety requirements in coordination with HSE team.
Supervises employee attendance and productivity.
Interfac with sub-contractors to ensure compliance of project implementation with construction schedule.
Assists in the preparation of construction schedule, manpower histogram, submittal log, and drawing log, and any changes thereof, in coordination with concerned stakeholders for initial project planning.
Assists with preparation of two-week look ahead schedules for project implementation.
Coordinates with Project Manager or Site Construction Manager on preparation of all project submittals and drawings.
Ensures placement of Amana logo on site panels.
Issues material requisition forms inline with AMANA policies and procedures.
Oversees purchase and delivery of required materials, and infl of site store materials. Interfac up with suppliers to verify materials received.
Attends internal and external meeting as and when required.
Interfac with consultan on site-related matters and ensures good relations with them.
Issues Inspection Request to the team to inspect the activities.
Reviews the Variatio Orde extensions wand provides feedback about the impact on the project.
Assists in the preparation of the project close out report.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Assigns tasks and responsibilities to team members as per schedule / directions.
Assists in the training and development of team members.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management
