Ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers (local and international).
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain long-term relationships with key vendors.
Oversee daily purchasing activities and ensure timely order placement.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for delivery tracking.
Achieve cost savings through negotiation and strategic sourcing.
Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and competitor pricing.
Prepare and manage procurement budgets.
Analyze purchasing data to improve efficiency.
Work closely with inventory and store teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Maintain doentation for audits and compliance checks.
Work with teams to ensure product quality standards.
Utilize ERP systems for procurement processes.
Generate reports on purchasing performance, cost analysis, and supplier KPIs.
Provide consolidated management reports.
Lead and supervise purchasing team members.
Set KPIs and conduct performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage
5–7 years of experience in FMCG procurement or supply chain
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Experience in ERP systems
