Robust Hoses LLC, a reputable distributor of high-quality industrial and hydraulic hoses and fittings, is currently seeking a Purchase Assistant to join our team. We are specifically looking for candidates of Filipino nationality who are currently residing in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Purchasing Department in sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and equipment required for production and operations.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices and terms to ensure competitive pricing and favorable agreements.
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolve any delivery issues, and maintain good relationships.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in the company's database.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels and conducting periodic stock checks to support efficient inventory management.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure their requirements are met.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Follow up on outstanding orders, communicate delivery updates to relevant stakeholders, and escalate any delays or issues as necessary.
Requirements:
Filipino nationality in the UAE.
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the industrial or trading sector.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with suppliers.
Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office applications and purchasing software.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Knowledge of UAE suppliers and familiarity with local market dynamics is an advantage.
