The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. This role involves managing staff, controlling costs, and driving sales to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
Supervise restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance).
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
Manage restaurant opening & closing procedures.
2. Customer Service Excellence
Ensure a positive guest experience by maintaining high service standards.
Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
Monitor online reviews and customer feedback to improve service.
3. Staff Management & Training
Hire, train, and supervise employees (service crew, kitchen staff, supervisors).
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
Create staff schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage.
4. Sales & Financial Management
Monitor sales targets, profit margins, and operational expenses.
Implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention.
Manage cash handling and daily financial reports.
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor laws.
Train staff on fire safety, emergency procedures, and workplace safety.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or food service management.
Experience in fast food or quick-service restaurants is a plus.
Key Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Driving License will be added advantage.
