Safety Officer – Roles and Responsibilities
Regularly inspects the construction site to ensure a hazard-free environment
Conducts toolbox meetings
Must review and approves all subcontractors safety plans
Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses ad verify that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted as per procedure.
Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
Establish safety standards and policies as needed. Promotes safe practices and enforce safety guidelines at the job site
Carry out drills and exercises to manage emergency situations.
Responds to employees’ safety concerns.
Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.
Knowledge of OSHA and NEBOSH standards
Dynamic personality and good communication written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
