Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1.Inventory Management:
•Receive, inspect, and appropriately store incoming merchandise.
•Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using the designated system (e.g., spreadsheets, inventory software).
•Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical stock with records and address any discrepancies.
2.Order Fulfillment:
•Assist in fulfilling customer orders promptly and accurately.
•Prepare merchandise for display and ensure proper labeling and pricing.
•Coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
3.Customer Service:
•Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
•Provide product information, answer inquiries, and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
•Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
4.Store Operations:
•Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store.
•Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays.
•Follow opening and closing procedures as per store guidelines.
Creative Store Arrangement:
•Design and implement visually appealing displays to showcase décor and home textiles.
•Use creativity to highlight product features and attract customer attention.
•Rotate displays regularly to maintain freshness and seasonal relevance.
Sales Support:
•Actively participate in sales activities to achieve store targets.
•Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
•Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
•1-2 years of experience in storekeeping a retail sales, preferably in handicrafts or home textiles.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Creative flair with an eye for aesthetic store arrangements.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Customer-focused attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.
•Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with inventory management software or POS systems is advantageous.
•Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a multi-faceted environment.
