Job Description

The Sales Engineer will serve as a technical expert and support the sales team in providing tailored solutions for our customers in the Oil & Gas industry. This individual will be responsible for understanding complex technical requirements and translating them into effective product solutions, while maintaining strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, solution presentations, and proposal creation.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop custom solutions for Oil & Gas applications.
Assess client needs and provide tailored recommendations for mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and product training for customers, highlighting the features and benefits of solutions.
Support product development teams by conveying customer feedback and contributing to the improvement of current offerings.
Act as the main point of contact for all technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and support during the sales process.
Prepare detailed technical doentation, including specifications, drawings, and proposals.
Attend client meetings, industry conferences, and trade shows to showcase the company’s capabilities and expand the customer base.
Maintain and grow strong, long-term customer relationships with key stakeholders in the Oil & Gas sector.
Travel to client sites as required to conduct site assessments or resolve technical challenges.


Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven experience in a Sales Engineer role, with a focus on the Oil & Gas industry.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to apply them to customer solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards, products, and systems (e.g., valves, pumps, pressure vessels, drilling equipment, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in creating technical proposals, presentations, and reports.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities at once.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
