Delivery Point is currently recruiting a team of high-performing Sales Manager for our Courier & Parcel Delivery Project.
You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. If you believe that you are the right fit, with experience in the field of Logistics, read on to find out more!
Responsibilities:
• Set sales team profit goals and hold team members accountable for goals and recognize or discipline as needed.
• Achieve satisfactory prof ratio and market share in relation to preset standards, industry and economic trends, and also sales and margin goals.
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
• Own objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Act as a player and a coach – bring on new business, in addition to coaching the sales representatives.
Qualifications:
• degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
• Experience with transportation and logistics industries.
• Previous manageme experience preferred.
• Successful previous experience as sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Proven record of growing business and starting new accounts.
• Ability to effectively train others, preferably with experience in doing so.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Ability to make quick, smart business decisions.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
