Job Description

The Sales Manager will take full ownership of Country Sales in Oman, executing strategic sales plans across pricing, product mix, and channel development. You will manage the distributor relationship, negotiating annual budgets and monitoring trade spending to prevent overspending. Key responsibilities include conducting retail audits to ensure market share growth, managing the launch of new categori, and coaching the distributor’s sales and merchandising teams. You will lead Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key accounts, monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs, and ensure prompt payment collection. This role requires a heavy focus on daily in-market sales (IMS) tracking and reporting competitor activities to management.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have 6–8 years of proven sales experience in a similar role specifically within Oman. You should possess strong strategic business aen and a deep understanding of P&L responsibility and budget management. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader capable of working with an external distributor entity with limited supervision. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to develop winning operational plans from high-level strategies are essential. Due to the nature of the role, a valid driving license and the ability to travel frequently across different geographical territories in Oman are required.
