• Overall marketing practices and principles including pricing, placement, promotion, and packaging
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
• Sales enablement – communicate the value propositions of the featur to the sales and support teams and develop the tools that support the selling processes of our product
• Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan including launch deliverables, brand guidelines, and dependencies
• Present ideas and information in influential and compelling ways
• Market intelligence – research and analyze the market to appropriately plan our product marketing strategies.
• Competitive intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to crush them
• Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products. This may include email marketing, advertising, direct mail, etc.
• Measure marketing efforts and monitor marketing metrics to determine performance against goals
• Product life cycle management, segmentation, and the adoption life cycle
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and the rest of Marketing
