SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR
Be certified physically and medically fit, including eyesight, colour blindness, hearing and ability to work at height and handle scaffolding materials and tools.
Be capable of reading, speaking, writing and understanding the English language sufficient for the fulfilment of their function in a safe manner.
To be able to pass out MS, JSA & PTW in Oil & Gas Field.
Will have a minimum of eight (8) years proven suitable experience, of which at least four (4) years have been in a supervisory capacity and four (4) years in an Inspector capacity.
Will have the Scaffolding Supervisor course certificate recognized by COMPANY or certification comparable from an international board (e.g., CISRS).
Have strong administrative and supervisory skills to schedule, monitor and control the scaffolding materials, tools, personnel and scaffolding activities.
Will have experience in supervision during construction, inspection, and certification of scaffolding structures.
Will have a full understanding of old and new scaffolding standards BS 5973 and EN 12811.
Able to interpret engineering drawings and possessing sound knowledge of Oil and Gas industrial plant safety.
Capable of performing all necessary administrative work; administrative work may include, but will not be limited to, obtaining and renewing work permits complying with work permit procedures.
Demonstrate an understanding of Safety issues and will be responsible for delivery of toolbox talks to the scaffold crews.
Will be capable of supervising the service team and able to exert full disciplinary and trade control over the tradesmen.
Capable of interpreting engineering doents and will have a suitable knowledge of industrial safety, health and environmental aspect.
