2.1 Must be capable of carrying out all basic Seamen’s tasks in the mooring of ships.
2.2 Works as deck hands on jetties, keeping them clean and tidy and any other manual work as necessary, using winch and manhandling.
2.3 Capable of knotting and splicing ropes, making and repairing rope fenders and splicing light wires.
2.4 Should be able to carry out duties on jetties, all marine craft and other areas as and when required.
2.5 Should be able to swim.
1. To be in possession of an approved seamen card equivalent to NAKHODA “B” license.
2. Having approved sea-going experience of a minimum of 2 years on board ship, jetty or any offshore installations.
3. Participates in any operation and fire drills, firefighting, salvage, rescue and pollution control operations within and outside Kuwait territorial waters.
4. Experience in marine field is necessary.
