Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized security guard to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining security protocols and ensuring safety standards while providing a professional and reassuring presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety and security of premises, assets, and personnel.
• Monitor and authorize entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other persons.
• Maintain a high level of visibility on the premises and work in close coordination with law enforcement agencies if necessary.
• Patrol assigned area on foot or in a vehicle; report unsafe conditions, hazardous situations, suspicious activities, and persons, and respond to alarms, fires, and emergencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and communicate effectively with supervisors about any security threats or issues.
• Perform any other security-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Requirements:
• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Strong observation and analytical skills to identify security risks and take appropriate action.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with visitors, clients, employees, and law enforcement agencies.
• Must be comfortable in conflict resolution scenarios requiring physical restraint.
• Physical stamina to perform security duties, including walking or standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
Education and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Valid security guard license and certification, if applicable.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to spend long periods standing, walking, or sitting.
• The ability to respond quickly and navigate stairs, elevators, and other obstacles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
