1. Patrol and monitor the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats or suspicious activities.
3. Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are locked and secure.
4. Respond to alarm calls and emergency situations promptly to provide assistance and maintain safety.
5. Monitor and control access to the premises by employees, visitors, and contractors.
6. Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents and activities, including daily logs and incident reports.
7. Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
8. Perform regular inspections to identify and report potential security vulnerabilities or hazards.
9. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, if required, to address security-related issues.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant security regulations and legislation.
Requirements:
1. Proven work experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role is preferred.
2. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
3. Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role.
4. Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or in emergency situations.
7. Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and equipment.
8. Basic computer skills for reporting and incident doentation.
9. Physical fitness for regular patrolling and standing for long periods.
10. Valid security guard licen, if required by local regulations.
