Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a secure and safe environment by monitoring premises and personnel.
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or other security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting visitors and employees.
- Control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
- Create and maintain detailed reports of security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required.
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and ensure they are in proper working order.
- Stay updated with the latest security procedures and emergency protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid security license or certification required.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and security systems.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR protocols is an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
