Full daily supervision of the team of CCTV operators. Resolves day-to-day issues /queries within the CCTV team Motivate and manage personal development needs within the team. Co-ordinates and implements the shift plan, ensuring that adequate and appropriate cover
is provided for the 24-hour service Responsible for ensuring all cameras are operational, serviced, and able to work in the
CCTV operator role with full responsibility Identify improvements and legislative updates and compliance to services or procedures
within the control room e.g. CCTV Codes of Practice, Data Protection, Human Rights and
Regulation of Investigatory Powers Acts, General Data Protection Regulations Ensures that CCTV operators follow correct procedures including compliance with
information-sharing protocols Ensure that the control room is safe, clean, well-maintained, and fully operational Carries out any other duties that may reasonably fall within the general nature and
responsibility of the post as required by the Community Safe.
