We are looking for an experienced Senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations of a new promising start-up B2B E-commerce company, based out of Dubai.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building the accounting system and department of the company. Reporting directly to the managing director, the candidate should be able to exhibit proper management reporting skills and strong financial presentation capabilities.
Senior accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
· Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
· Generating Management reports and experience in constructing budgets and business plans
· Maintains general ledger by managing accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
· Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial statements.
· Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, and verifying finished products.
· Completes external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
· Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
· Secures financial information by completing database backups.
· Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· 5-10 years experience in accounti
