Key Responsibilities
•Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for our clients (client base ranging from small to large corporate)
•Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent performance across the finance team.
•Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth audits, inspections, and reporting compliance.
•Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
•Oversee the preparation and timely submission of Corporate Tax returns, ensuring full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax Law and relevant FTA guidelines.
•Monitor and review VAT filings, supporting accurate computations, proper doentation, and adherence to UAE VAT regulations.
•Stay current with changes in local tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring the company remains compliant and informed.
•Utilize advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, financial models, scenario analysis) for reporting and decision support.
•Administer and optimize the use of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, including data integrity, reporting automation, and staff training.
•Ensure high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity in financial data and reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
•Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
•In-depth knowledge of UAE taxation, including Corporate Tax, VAT, and local regulatory compliance requirements.
•Proven expertise in IFRS and corporate financial reporting.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and practical experience with QuickBooks or equivalent E software.
•Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
•Demonstrated leadership ability, with strong communication and organizational skills.
