Responsible for comprehensive tax returns preparation, tax research and tax. also responsible for providing updates and required technical guidance to all internal stakeholders.

finance lead on quarterly consolidation of management discussion and analysis
finance lead on annual consolidation of chairman’s message and ceo report
timely upload of consolidated financial statement and other related reports to the market (adx, xbrl)
finance lead on the consolidation of annual report
finance lead on annual general meeting
monthly review of bank reconciliation
supervise subsidiary accounts and financial statements
performs regular financial health check of the company through ratios, trends and benchmarking
supports business in providing up to date financial information and analysis
assists in the preparation of yearly budgets and updates budgets to respond to latest business realities through monthly forecast (i.e. balance sheet and cash flow forecast)
follow-up on variances and overruns
lead on resolving accounting and reporting discrepancies
lead in the continuous development and alignment of reports for both internal and external users
monitor and improve financial reporting systems and databases
lead on impact assessment of new reporting standards and other statutory requirements
liaise with it on in-house financial software programs
interact with internal auditors and address issues
monthly preparation of vat returns \[and other taxes, if applicable\]
performs tax research and planning
responsible for all updates on tax laws and its impact to the company
Provides technical guidance to all internal stakeholders
Works with it system providers to ensure required reports by tax authorities are properly complied.
