Senior Estimator
Architectur Fit-out
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5 years plus experience working as an Architectur Fit-out Estimator. GCC experience is a must. Qatar experience will be an added advantage.
Proven experience as an Estimator in fit out projects or a related field.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret Engineer’s and Architect’s technical drawings, understand and deliver the information to prepare quantities take-off and cost estimates.
Detail oriented, follow work instructions, organized, with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately quantify materials and calculate costs.
Strong knowledge of architectural and fit out construction materials, techniques, and finishes.
Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes is preferred.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project doentation to understand the scope and requirements of fit out projects.
Quantify and take off materials required for fit out projects, considering specifications, finishes, and quality standards.
Source and request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.
Analyze and compare suppli quotations to select the most cost-effective options.
Calculate labor costs based on project requirements, manpower needs, and productivity rates.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material quantities, labor hours, equipment usage, subcontractor costs, and any other relevant expenses.
Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize costs without compromising quality and functionality.
Maintain a database of historical cost data, including materials, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing, for reference in future estimates.
Continuously monitor and track project costs and update estimates as necessary during the bidding and negotiation stages.
