Promocell llc. is looking for an experienced developer / IT expert to manage the technical department and maintain an existing mobile application (Android, Apple and web) and an e-commerce web platform and personally participate in coding, updating, innovating and adding new features on these platforms
IT Infrastructure related - hands on and advisory role:
- Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands of organization
- Manage daily operations of the verticals supported by business house
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
- Coordinate the needs of in-house IT experts and remote employees, vendors and contractors
- Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means
- Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use
- Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes required to enhance service delivery
Development related - Hands on and advisory role:
- Strong knowledge of Javascript, C++, P, Mobile app development frameworks - Android / iOS (MERN / MEAN stacks) and compilation tools etc
- Solid experience in coding an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of user interfaces - design & user journey concepts.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and web frameworks.
Other software proficiency - can be applicable for all scenarios, but must be hands on:
- All standard off the shelf applications in use today - MS Office, Collaboration tools etc
- Website & CMS proficiency - Wordpress / Drupal / Squarespace / WIX etc - in-depth knowledge by independent installations, and coding / troubleshooting exp
- Hosting provisioning (Amaz, Blue, Hostgator etc) & maintenance / scheduled backup, account maintenance activities etc
- Must be responsible for subscription handling, account keeping, versioning of releases, testing of solutions etc
Candidate background and skills:
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
- Industry certifications and memberships a plus
- Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills
- Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously
- Excellent experience in mobile app development and management
- Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
- Extensive knowledge of software development and related technologies.
