Manage the overall receiving, warehousing and distribution operations across all warehouses & stores by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and human resources policies and procedures.
Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure appropriate productivity levels.
Ensure that the quality standards of operations are compatible with and up to the standards for JIT Parts Logistics.
Investigates complaints involving such matters as damaged items, mis-shipments, and delay in shipment, and makes necessary adjustment.
Overseeing stock control and controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system
Achieves warehouse operations objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with targets.
Takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
Promote Employees satisfaction by acknowledging good performance and motivate staff thru coaching and good leadership to develop their morale.
Training warehouse staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Implement cost reduction strategies within the scope of the role to reduce the cost of Part logistics for the company.
