Key Responsibilities:•Shop Drawing Preparation: Retail, Hospitality, Shopping Malls & Community Development Projects.•Prepare precise shop drawings with accurate measurements, materials, and specifications for fabrication and installation.•Translate design concepts into technical drawings, ensuring that all elements can be produced efficiently and within budget.•Detailed Allocation Drawings for each sign Items which includes positions, electrical, and foundation details.•Coordinate with architects, urban planners, and designers to seamlessly integrate signage into the project’s overall design and navigation system.•Create location plans for different zones and buildings, considering user flow, access points, and key signage areas.•Material and Vendor Coordination:•Engineering coordination with inhouse structural engineers and third-party desi feasibility reports.•Work with fabricators and vendors to select appropriate materials (metals, plastics, vinyl, etc.) and fabrication techniques.•Ensure that shop drawings meet production capabilities and standards, coordinating revisions as needed.•Site Coordination:•Conduct site surveys to assess installation conditions and dimensions.•Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure seamless integration of signage into the project environment.•Compliance and Standards:•Ensure designs comply with Authority guidelines, Shopping malls guidelines, and safety regulations.•Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.•Collaboration:•Work closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that design and shop drawings meet project goals and timelines.•Collaborate with production teams to address any challenges during the fabrication or installation phases.
Qualifications:•Education:•Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.•Experience:•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in signage design and detailing.•Skills:•Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or equivalent and SketchUp).•Strong understanding of architectural drawings and technical details.•Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings for signage fabrication and allocation plans for large-scale projects.•Knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques.•Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred:•Experience with wayfinding systems and large-scale commercial projects.•Knowledge of 3D design software like SketchUp or 3ds Max.
