Oversee the technical selection, deployment, and integration of smart meters (single-phase, three-phase, DT, HT) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). They ensure compliance with standards like IS 16444 and DL, manage H systems, and troubleshoot field performance issues.
Key Responsibilities
1.Technical Oversight & Deployment: Supervise the end-to-end installation, testing, and commissioning of smart meters in accordance with BIS, IEC, and CEA standards.
2.System Integration: Manage integration with Head-End Systems (HES), Meter Data Acquisition Systems (MDAS), and Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS).
3.Performance & Data Validation: Analyze field data to ensure accuracy, communication reliability, and effective tamper detection.
4.Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with manufacturers for firmware upgrades (FOTA), troubleshooting, and coordinate with DISCOMs for technical approvals.
5.Technical Doentation: Develop SOPs, test reports, and technical specifications for AMI projects
