Technical Competencies
Essential
• Degree qualified minimum requirement of B (Mechanical)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing Engineering.
• Must have integrity, be flexible and proactive.
• Must demonstrate ability to act independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on remote projects.
• Able to take ownership of and deliver MEP package on site independently not limited to:
o Checking of and identifying all requirements for Testing and Commissioning of MEP works package.
o Checking and clearing of contractors QA Submittals and Inspection Requests.
• Generate and submit Weekly and Monthly Reports.
• Generate, manage and maintain tracking and reporting schedules.
• Direct and manage a full team of Inspectors.
• Direct and manage the Contractor not limited to the MEP works.
• Full knowledge of Document Control procedures.
• Full knowledge of QHSE principles and practices.
Desirable
• Understanding of British, American and International design standards.
• Reasonable knowledge of AutoCAD, and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Behavioural Competencies
Essential
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English essential.
• Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients is essential.
• Good team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Responsibilities
• Carry out inspection of works in progress.
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Review of shop drawing and material submittals.
• Monitor and report contractor progress and all activities.
• Deliver all obligations related to the MEP Package under the Conditions of Contract.
• Comply with and maintain all discipline documentation in accordance with Project Quality Plan.
• Comply with all QHSE policies.
Transferrable Iqama & Iqama Validity is must.
