Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire production process for steel structure fabrication, from planning to final output.
Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.
Manage and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
Ensure that production is cost-effective while maintaining quality standards and minimizing waste.
Optimize workflows and implement continuous improvement processes for better efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Monitor production equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
Oversee inventory management and ensure that materials are available as needed for production schedules.
Collaborate with senior management to forecast production needs and set strategic goals.
Prepare regular production reports and metrics for management review.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) in a production management role within steel fabrication or a similar heavy manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of steel structure fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, forming, and assembly.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and best practices for steel structures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in production management software and tools.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
