Job Description

1.Should be able to follow standards for receiving and issuing stock within the stores.
2.Should always check Quality, Quantity, Weight of items as received in the stores.
3.Match items with Invoices, check item rates, check invoice Value and make sure all is correct.
4.Stack store items in a proper manner and follow the FIFO (First In First Out) system for inventory issuance.
5.Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operation stock.
6.Ensure that all the issuances from the stores are properly accounted for and utilized by various departments.
7.Enter stock purchases and issuance data in the inventory control system.
8.Ensuring prompt utilization and accountability of stock.
9.Prepare daily stock utilization report.
10.Give a weekly report of how the weekly purchases were utilized.
11.Label all inventory items to ensure prompt identification.
12.Check the store for any breakages or routine maintenance.
13.Control and track stock levels, timely ordering and verification of the supplies.
14.Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, schedule delivery and check the quality of deliveries. lock facility at end of day.
15.Always make sure that restaurant never face shortage of any stock item.
16.Ensure fool proof system to avoid pilferage, wastage, spoilage and expiration of store items.
17.Responsible for day-to day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
18.Should have understanding of standards of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) in storage practices.
19.Perform periodical physical stock taking and report management for any difference with perpetual records.
20.Perform daily physical check of usage for the store items issued to all departments and match it with the production records.


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

1.Diploma or Certificate in hotel management, procurement or store management preferred but not compulsory.
2.2-3 years experience working in the Cateri / F&B sector
3.Should ideally have experience in stock taking in food & beverage sector.
4.Service- minded
5.Must be a computer literate , having experience in operating Inventory management software
