About the Job
DCB is looking for a structural design engineer with experience on a variety of large scale projects, including tall tower, commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
Responsibilities:
- Structural design and analysis for reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, and sound understanding of geotechnical principles and foundation design
- Working with design codes and industry standards
- Supervising and completing technical reviews, detailed design calculations, control drawing and design office activities and risk assessment and analysis.
- Coordination of structural design information with requirements of other disciplines.
- Coordination with design consultant representatives, project management, procurement, and construction contractors.
- Working knowledge of construction and fabrication methods, and heavy lift analysis.
- Preparation of method statements and specifications.
