•Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a tandoor section (in a restaurant or hotel).
•Culinary diploma or relevant food production certification preferred.
2. Skill Set:
•Knowledge of handling tandoor equipment (clay oven, skewers, etc.).
•Ability to prepare naan, roti, kulcha, and tandoori items like chicken, fish, kebabs.
•Prepping marinades and maintaining mise en place.
•Understanding of traditional tandoori cooking times and temperatures.
3. Hygiene & Safety:
•Trained in food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
•Basic knowledge of cross-contamination and allergen control.
4. Personal Traits:
•Team player with good communication skills.
•Physically fit (working with tandoors can be demanding).
