Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to a list of potential customers provided by the company.
Introduce products or services to prospects and explain their benefits and features.
Build rapport and establish a positive relationship with potential customers.
Listen to customer needs and tailor the sales pitch to match those needs.
Address any questions or concerns that potential customers may have.
Provide accurate information about pricing, promotions, and product availability.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products or services.
Follow a script or call outline while adapting to the conversation flow.
Input and update customer information in the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Handle objections and rejections professionally and attempt to overcome them.
Set up appointments for more in-depth product presentations, if necessary.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
Collaborate with the sales team and sales managers to improve strategies and achieve team goals.
Keep records of calls, sales, and leads for reporting purposes.
Continuously improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills.
Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance performance.
Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm to keep prospects engaged.
Follow up with leads that require more time for consideration.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' offerings.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college education may be preferred.
Proven experience in telesales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills.
