JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the learning and development and engagement process in the Hotel. Develops, facilitates and supervise
training programs for all employees to promote a positive learning culture whilst ensuring colleagues are delivering a
positive and exceptional guest experience.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being the ambassador of product knowledge training and assessment across the hotel.
- Conducts training needs analysis and prepares training plan accordingly.
- Provide, develops and implements solutions for the training need analysis outcome.
- Design e-learning modules and deliver consistent training sessions.
- Conducts on and off job training sessions, particularly in the areas of customer service, new hire orientation, legal
obligations and quality assurance.
- Ensures that all employees receive appropriate orientation, a handbook / information about hotel operations and
policies.
- Sets up a culture of Cross Training plans across the hotel, ensuring policies, set times and durations and plans of
training are committed to from receiving departments.
- Develops and conducts basic and supervisory to managerial level training such as customer service, selfdevelopment, appraisal training and any other relevant courses required.
- Regularly conducts spot checks throughout the hotel and makes reports on what standards are being achiev
achieved.
- Maintains and updates training record.
- Organize the staff activities to create better working condition and build the staff loyalty.
- Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the
hotel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
✓ Must have Hotel background or been a Trainer in Hotel
✓ Has Teaching and Coaching Experience (Advantage)
✓ Excellent communication skills both written and oral
✓ Team Player, Flexible and can work with minimum supervision
