Job Description:
Alshariya Cargo & Logistics LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Transport goods and materials to assigned destinations, following designated routes and schedules.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of items during transportation.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing seat belts, following speed limits, and maintaining a defensive driving approach.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, trip sheets, and receipts.
Assist with the verification and doentation of goods during loading and unloading processes.
Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize route planning.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including professional and courteous interactions with clients and recipients.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Follow company policies and procedures related to delivery operations, safety, and security.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of vehicles, both inside and outside.

Valid UAE driver's license, preferably with a light vehicle or heavy vehicle category.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a logistics or transportation setting.
Good knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic regulations.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Excellent driving skills, including maneuvering through various road conditions and traffic situations.
Physical fitness to perform loading and unloading tasks as required.
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and responsibly, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
Experience with GPS navigation systems and route optimization tools is beneficial.
